Define the bundle’s physical contents and commercial refund rule before testing returns. Inspect which components came back and decide their stock disposition separately from the customer adjustment. The acceptance scenario should show that returning one component does not automatically replenish a complete bundle or create a refund inconsistent with the approved promotional arrangement.
Understand the decision
A customer buys a promotional kit and returns its main item while keeping an accessory. Warehouse staff receive individual components, but the storefront recorded one selling offer. The review should make the mapping and approval understandable without assuming that the operational kit and commercial promotion have identical rules.
Work through the requirements
- Map the offer to physical components
- Record actual returned items and condition
- Approve refund and replenishment decisions separately
| Record or decision | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Bundle composition | Defines the expected physical contents |
| Return inspection | Records actual components received |
| Refund decision | Explains the approved commercial adjustment |
What would a passing test show?

Watch for this failure
A selling bundle is not necessarily an indivisible stock unit or a simple sum of refund prices. Agree the commercial and physical rules explicitly so a convenient connector mapping does not decide the customer’s entitlement or usable inventory.
Continue the evaluation
